CERTIFICATION:

Exam 1ZO-007 - Introduction to SQL - Oracle 9i – In this paper I have learned basic stuffs related to oracle database like SQL statements and its different operations.

Exam 1Z0-031 - Oracle 9i Database Administration Fundamentals I –This is the most important section of this training program. Here we get a chance to know in complete details how an Oracle database works. How it utilizes the memory, its processes, backup operation, physical and logical structures of the database, how it stores records and how to manage users and its resources.

Exam 1Z0-032 - Oracle 9i Database Administration Fundamentals II – This paper was completely on the different types of backup and recovery operation used in Oracle databases whether it is by using RMAN or even user managed. I was also able to learn about import and export operation using SQL Loader.

Exam 1Z0-033 - Oracle 9i Database Administration Performance Tuning – This is the most vital section of each and every DBA. Here I got a chance to handle the Oracle database in my own hands. I could even tune the base according to my requirements. As I started working with the Oracle database I adapted myself to these changing requirements so that I never go out of memory space. I also learned how to tune the SQL statements, use TKPROF utility, and determine statistics about the database by using STATSPACK. There are also different dynamic performance views that actually help a lot to tune the database which actually helped me to work in future in my office as well as in my school projects. I also learned how to allocate resources to users or to a group of users. More importantly it was the ultimate training that I received to gain my knowledge regarding Database Administration.
