Duties included maintaining a production schedule that would meet customer expectations for their product to ship on time. Inventory monitoring and coordinating daily cycle counts along with the yearly inventory count was key at maintaining a structured production schedule. Production activities for over 150 employees was maintained to ensure proper use of resources.
• Aligned MRP system with correct lead times, this saved hours of unnecessary and wasteful production of items not needed.
• Created a more streamlined warehouse location system which allowed for quicker and more accurate order fulfillment. Based on
time study before and after there was over 2 hours saved on each order while staging.
