Overview
From the years 2013 to 2015 I was attending College at Miles Community College in Miles City Montana on a college basketball scholarship. I played for two very disciplined coaches, I learned what hard work truly is while trying to manage being a collegiate athlete and a full time student and maintaining a 3.8 GPA. I earned Academic All-Conference Team both years I attended there along with being a part of the National NJCAA All Academic Team of the year 2013-2014. I also did over 50 Hours of community services while attending college. I was also a part of the student ambassador program and served as a resident assistant at Miles Community college my sophomore year. I graduated there with my associates of science and art with high honors. I am now attending Utah State University where I am working towards my major in Family, Consumer and Human Development with a concentration in Human Development and Family Community services. I then plan to graduate in the spring 2018, and continue my schooling to become a child life specialist.

My duties included helping customers throughout the day, I interacted with them on many levels and try to help them the best of my knowledge in finding the gear that will help them with their adventure. I also work on keeping the sales floor very clean and presentable. I now currently work in the backstock and freight department, I work with a team of 3 and my duties require me to restock the clothing, athletics, camping and hunting departments daily of what we sold the previous day, I also am in charge of inventory that comes in for all departments. I organize it and plug numbers into a software called backbone, where it is organized so we can find it later to pull and take to the floor.

As a Basketball referee for Smithfield Recreation I worked with mainly kids in the 4th grade, so all around the age of 9 years old. I refereed both boys and girls basketball, we had to make sure the games all started on time and made sure the games ran smoothly. Not only did I ref the games, I did my best to be a coach to the kids as well by explain how they did something wrong and showing them how they can fix it. This job gave me the opportunity to share something I am passionate about to the younger generation, it was very fun and I loved helping the little kids learn more about basketball.

As a custodian for Utah State Facilities I worked as a custodian at the Edith Bowen Laboratory School. I work during lunch time and my job was to clean up any messes that were made, make sure everything was running smoothly and to clean up the cafeteria after the lunches were over. I would mop the floors, clean windows and empty garbage’s. I worked alongside some awesome people and also got to work with some autistic kids during this time that I got to help them as they were working on learning skills in the work force.

I worked as Resident Assistant in the Dorms on my college Campus; I was paid through scholarship throughout my employment. My duties were to work in the dorm office and watch over my assigned hallway. We enforced the rules made sure everything was running smoothly, in some situations we would have to break up parties that may have contained alcohol and drugs. I was responsible for making sure my peers were following the rules and were safe. I had to go through different training's for this job, such as CPR and “Not in Our State”, Which was training on how to prevent sexual violence.
