Works for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Assigned as an EM specialist to the Joint Mission Assurance (JMAA) Division and the Standards and Training Office. Utilizing RM tools, Conducts plans and procedural assessments of Emergency Management (EM); Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological, and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE); Public Health and Continuity of Operations (COOP) programs to protect personnel, critical assets, and missions from hazards and threats that may impact the installation, facility, or asset in the CONUS or OCONUS. Duties include Providing recommendations to improve products. Assessing CBRNE/hazardous material equipment for decontamination, detection, and personal protection. Collaborating with the Mission Support Office to develop the All Hazards Threat Analysis (AHTA) for each assessment the subject matter expert (SME) is scheduled to conduct. Coordinating with the team’s Risk Management Asymmetrical Tactics Specialist in the development of the hazard/threat asset pairing for each assessment. Preparing Assessment Team Reports based upon vulnerabilities observed during the assessment. Conducting other assessment areas defined by the SME Benchmark matrix. Works for Head Quarters, Army Cyber Command (HQ ARCYBER). The designated ATO for an Army major command; Initiates, develops, implement, monitors, manages and evaluates compliance with broad overall policies and procedures pertaining to ARCYBER AT and FP Program. Promulgate ARCYBER AT policy to all the subordinate commands. Serve as the principal advisor to the ARCYBER Commanding General on all aspect of the command AT program. Coordinates AT issues with Dept of Defense (DOD) and Dept of Army (DA) staffs, other military services and various federal agencies. Advise the G3 on INTEL and current matters affecting the FP posture of the command. Represent the command at the DOD and DA level FP board and working group. benchmarking, and policy development. Interprets complex DOD security regulations and policy; conducts AT/ FP program review, surveys and renders recommendations for corrective action. Supports crisis planning and response should an incident occur. Acts as the liaison with members of the DOD, DTRA, ARNORTH and other officials as required keeping abreast of current AT/FP issues.

the status of the EM program semi-annually. Creates an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) which implements an all-

hazard approach to planning, preparation, response, and recovery. The EM Officer will incorporate EMP guidelines with regard to training, standards, and procedural applications in support of established DOD standards and policies and National Incident Management System (NIMS) procedures. The EM Officer will conduct, test, and assess EM at least annually to provide assurance that EAP’s can be performed across a spectrum of contingencies, threats, events, and other emergencies. The EM officer establishes and leads an EM working group and prepare for annual Army Protection Program and other directed EM assessments.

Works for the Policy and Strategic Initiatives (P&SI) Department/Emerging Concepts and Architecture (EC&A) Project Manager within the Joint Project Executive Office for Chemical Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) as FP Operations officer. Installation's OPSEC & CBRN operational requirements and ensure those requirements are met.
