-PPO, assist and train Technician on the procedures for Vehicle Parasitic Testing, collecting and packaging the data for delivery.

Manufacture engineering professional with extensive experience in product production testing.

-Support Advance Manufacturing Engineering New Vehicle launch efforts.

-Extensive experience in Core Trim Chassis Final Electrical Test Systems, Vehicle Body Leakage Test Systems, Tire Pressure Monitor Systems, Antenna Signal Systems, Rolls Test, Electrical Testers and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Systems.

-Manage Plant Service repair operations for the StarSCAN Vehicle Diagnostic tools for twelve manufacturing plants. Maintained an inventory of replaceable parts to ensure a quick repair. Developed a test fixture to validate the tools circuit boards, charted and plotted all major and minor problems and listed the repair solutions to ensure the labs technician makes quick turnaround with the diagnostic tools. All the StarSCAN tools received are repaired and returned to its assembly plant within 24 to 72 hours. Coordinated with the assembly plants to cover the cost of StarSCAN repair beyond normal wear and tear by issuing them guide lines about the tool which decreased major repairs by 50%.

-Worked with the Instrumentation Department developing and communizing robust test equipment, vehicle diagnostic cables, diagnostic connectors, door/window cyclers, and hand held testers.

-Worked with contracted vendor (Pico) during the testing of new vehicle model assembly line. I validated all the critical spot welds that were performed by the new assembly line robots.

-Supported Power Train testing efforts for the 3.7L and 4.7L engines (Mack 1 & 2 Engine Plants). Maintained the Engine Dynamometer Computer Systems and Vehicle Integration Boxes. Made sure all the Dynamometer Systems had yearly calibration and proper software upgrades. Programmed the Vehicle Integration Boxes to meet the current model year engine updates. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

-Upgraded the Vehicle Electrical-Functional Checklist test procedure. The Vehicle Electrical-Functional Checklist is a document that contains 75 test procedures. These procedures are regularly upgraded and new ones are added when needed. I re-wrote the document in Microsoft Excel to allow the user to select only the test procedures needed for his/her Ride Test. This saved testing time by eliminating the viewing and reading of procedures that are not associate with vehicle being tested. (General Motors – Contract Job)

-One of a three-member team that developed an Engine Mis-fire detection system for the Mound Road Engine Plants’ Hot Test Stands. This system enables the Engine Hot Test Stand operator to detect engine problems more rapidly and stopped the shipments of faulty engines. (Chrysler Corporation)

-Designed and built Door Fixture Tester for Warren Truck Maintenance Department. The device was used to repair the Handheld Door Fixture, which is the apparatus that connects to the vehicle door to be tested on the assembly line. The Door Fixture Tester enables Warren Truck Assembly Plant to save $6000 in outside repair cost by enabling the maintenance department to test, diagnose, and repair problems that occurred. -Developed a tool for Mound Road Engine Plants’ assembly line that stopped the placement of the distributor in the engine 180 degrees out of phase. (Chrysler Corporation)

-Redesign one of the lab apparatuses for Electro-optical measurements (for evaluation and testing LCD’s) using light piped plate. The light piped plate enabled even light to pass through the LCD under test. (Delco Electronics, Division of General Motors - Contract Job)

-Decreased testing time for Two-wire device transducers by automating one of the Spindle Machines to test the devices using HP basic that controlled the core movement through the transducer, testing, and data collecting. (Cadillac Gage Textron)
