I am a key member of Infosys’s Corporate finance Accounting group managing the following activities within my current roles and responsibilities:

Compliance Management:

o Leading a team of individuals in the activity of ensuring compliance in case of expatriates and local hires in Overseas locations

o Steering the global employee movements between countries from a finance perspective and ensuring that the compliances are met on time.

Global Mobility initiative:

o Global mobility is the movement of local hires from their home country to another country on an assignment which entails running shadow payroll and ensuring compliance in the host country

o Providing estimated costing details to unit financial analyst as part of approval of Global Mobility travels

o Ensuring that statutory compliances (running shadow payroll, tax return filing and getting foreign tax credit relief) are met in home and host location of the employee.

Social Security Agreements and exemption:

o A social security agreement (SSA) is a bilateral instrument to protect the social security interests of workers posted in another country. Being a reciprocal agreement, it generally provides for equality of treatment and avoidance of double coverage.

o Interacting with the social security authority along with other stakeholders in analyzing various SSAs and implementation of SSA benefits. o Liaising with the social security authority in obtaining the social security exemption certificates and thereby enabling cost saving for the company.
