Recent Project Work

Cox Employee Giving Campaign – Annual giving campaign sponsored by corporate communications & partnered with United Way to promote charitable giving by all Cox employees & contractors during the month of August. Campaign promotions were developed on the company’s Jive social media platform, Campus Life, with SAML 2.0 federated SSO links to United Way, where participants could donate to a variety of charities by check, credit card or payroll deductions. UW provided weekly reports & year end financial data files used to update People Soft with employee payroll deductions. Contributed as Sr. Project Manager & Sr. Business Analyst for all Cox projects.

Employee Tools Mobile eApps – Employee Tools is a SSO responsive site that provides Cox employees with a convenient way to access People Soft enterprise transactions such as personal info, web clock punch in punch out, time & labor, benefits and paycheck on their mobile device. InFlight, a 3rd party vendor, intercepts HTML sent to the user from People Soft & reformats it into a responsive design for desktop & mobile devices without interfering with the native functionality of People Soft.

Season for Sharing – SFS is a .Net web site that is made available for 1 1/2 months before Christmas & allows Cox Employees to nominate someone they know who is in need of a financial gift from Cox. When employees SSO into the site, their information is read from People Soft & that info along with nominee info is written to an SQL DB. Admins can then SSO into the backend of the site, accept or reject nominees & choose how much compensation they can receive from the fund. The site informs the nominees & applicants who are accepted or rejected & facilitates reporting that allows checks to be printed & sent out in the mail prior to Christmas.

Mobile Solutions Catalog – SSO site created with Oracle Web Center to provide Cox employees with access to & information about mobile apps & responsive sites they might find useful. Users can link to public or private mobile apps for download or send the URLs of responsive sites they want to bookmark to their mobile device.

Analytics Dashboard – Google analytics dashboard, created in Tableau to display summary & detailed analytics data from multiple Cox sites, with the ability to expand the number of sites into the future.

New York City Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene – Experis’ objective was to upgrade, redesign & redevelop the city’s CCATS – Child Care Applicant Tracking System. Project consisted of a public facing web site, tablet application, data migration from Oracle to SQL & SharePoint with data sharing connectivity to child care facilities, borough managers, supervisors, inspectors, FDNY & NYC courts. Brought in to stabilize an over budget, behind schedule government project & bring it to a successful conclusion.

Built relationships with client stakeholders, PMs, QA & Dev teams. Identified the primary technical issue causing development delays & brought it to light so it could be addressed. Managed & coordinated performance testing, launch date implementation & communication plans, bug & enhancement tracking, online training videos & ran scrum meetings. eCompanyStore / Microsoft – eCompanyStore’s objective was to modernize their enterprise infrastructure, improve branding, add & enhance functionality & rebuild their e-commerce delivery system using the latest technology. This was to be done for Microsoft’s Company Store initially & simultaneously white label the system for use by all of their clients.

Brought on to the project in Feb. 2014 as Project Manager & Scrum Master to work with the solutions architect responsible for technical project delivery. Contributed as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner & Information Architect.

Recruited, interviewed & hired front end, back end developers, creative talent & two QA testers to round out the development team.

Spent three weeks identifying existing features, enhancements, new requirements, writing, prioritizing & refining user story backlog to drive the agile scrum development effort.

Brightmill Animated Information Video – Animated information video created to demonstrate in a fun & comical way what services the Brightmill Group provides. Contributed as Product Owner, Writer, Producer & Lead Visual Concept Designer.

(IDS) Interactive Demo System – Created an Interactive Demonstration System for a large company that provides a variety of products to the cable, Telco & communications industries. This custom browser-based application allows over 400 sales people to provide clients with product demonstrations for 350 products & has the ability to run in online or offline mode. The system includes videos, PPS presentations, 360 image views, photography & product content. It has the ability to update itself while in online mode with product updates from an SQL database at the client.
