SAS Illustration is the New Quotation application which is an integral component of SAS (Strategic Agency System as a shared service will be used by Co-registered Agencies, Captive Agents and sales support employees of AIG BU’s (AIU, FFM, and FLI Illustration addresses the solution components for Quotation, Application and Booking. Agents access Illustration functions through SAS application. It addresses the Illustration functions of New Co products adopted from AIU and FFM as outlined in the scope. The major functions of the Illustration are

Valuable data stored in different documents, reports, risk assessment utilities and standalone management systems is difficult to manage. Chartis is the U.S. based international insurance organization and amongst the largest underwriters of commercial and industry coverage in the United States and operates globally. CASL is solution that centralizes all application security and assigned system authority. This is achieved by migrating to a single point of control for user security maintenance, moving from disparate user maintenance modules in the various front -ends and Global Terminal Access Method (GTAM) security tables to a new centralized security system for Domestic Brokerage Group in AIG. This architecture provides tighter security and allows real -time updates while also providing a full audit trail of user requests and approvals. As part of this assignment, all the application security and financial authority were extended to multiple geographies, following configurable approval processes.

The scope of the project is to build a common repository for reference data and thereby simplify and automate the tasks related to data governance and release management for reference data. RDF (Reference Data Facility) online application will automate the existing process of maintenance of excels spreadsheets for handling data on Enumerations, Transformations and Catastrophe Codes. Manager can approve and apply the scripts into production on a given due date by using this application.
