Direct all aspects of payroll and HR functions for the Office of the Bursar and the Office of Student Financial Aid for 140 employees. Upgraded ADP payroll program adding HR Profile, an HRIS module, containing HR information such as benefits, disability and FMLA, compensation and performance management, new hire documentation, training skills etc., enabling HR to better manage and retrieve employee information. Collaborate with senior management to streamline processes, rewrite job descriptions and evaluate job classifications to assess pay rates against market survey data; developed new salary structure and implemented industry specific best practices benchmarking program as catalyst for reorganization.

§ Maintain and distribute employees’ work-flow daily assignments and coordinate secretarial overflow vacation and overtime coverage, maintain all department invoices, check requests and expense reports as well as maintain accurate electronic records of employee records, licenses, changes and updates

§ Collect and process all support and legal staff timesheets and prepare, calculate and verify all submitted timesheets for approval and ADP payroll processing and administers the complete bi-weekly payroll function for exempt and nonexempt staff using manual time records, monitors paid and unpaid leave for all employees

§ Prepare and update semi-annual and annual support staff evaluations spreadsheet and monitor submission of evaluations and maintain personnel records of staff and initiates forms required for salary increases

§ Created and designed a report of salaries from sister institutions to increase the salary of representatives in the Office of the Bursar and the Office of Student Financial Aid

§ Started as the Human Resources Generalist for the Office of the Bursar which consisted of 40 employees and was promoted to being the Human Resources Manager for the Office of Student Financial Aid which consisted of 100 employees combining both departments since they work together which lead to complete management of 140 employees
