1.Handled complete Forging project in Modern Automotives with all reputed customers like GKN, Mushashi&Maruti.Developed cold extrusion of TULIP after warm forging.

2.Developed combined trimming,multi-piercing&padding tool on the press bolster.

3.Developed nest forging to improve productivity,yield(by introducing Reduce Roller) and billet cutting cost reduction.

AZAD ENGINEERING PVT LTD. MFRS:TURBINE & AEROSPACE PARTS. HYDERABAD.

PLANT –Head. (Forging,Heat treatment,maching).

Hydraulic hammer -5.0 &2.0 ton. Belt drop hammer – 1.5 and 3.5 ton and 1000 ton forging press.

From - April- 2011.

Clients –Alstom,Siemens,Skoda,Mitsubishi hitachi,Bhel,Triveni turbines,Hal etc

Stainless steel,Titanium alloy forging. 3,4,5,6 axis machining centre.

Responsibilities :-

To look after all responsibility related to Production activities .Responsible for Value engineering on process.

To look after tool room activities as per requirement. To look after new project, i,e Engineering activities related to tool & process design.To look after complete team for their efficiency & Skill improvements.

To look after adherence of systems, business development., ppc, plant layout.Heat-treatment.machining.

Responsible to minimize running cost in forging &machining cost by process engineering, Rejection Control etc.

Handling all customer related issues & closed them properly.

Achievements:-

1.Implement shrink fitted dies to increase die life.

2. Billet cut wt.of swivel head reduced by 1.5 kg.

3. Furnace oil consumption reduced from 200 litre/ton to 80 litre/ton.

4.Die design modify & made on vmc m/c to increase the yield.

5. Reduced machining time on vmc m/c.

Duration:- August 2008 to march 2011

Responsibility:-

To look after production activities in forge shop & m/c shop. Manpower control.

Set up time reduction . Rejection control. Improvement in productivity.

Achievements:-

Improved production upto 50%

Reduced rejection from 3.6% to 1% by process improvement

Improved Yield of several components upto 5%.

Improved setuptime upto 1 hr.

Responsibility of new product development on presses & Establish of production.

Designing process & tooling for Flashless forging/ Warm forgings .

Established all forging line & developed several component independently.

Mechanical press-1200 Ton, MPM hammer 3.15T capacity,

Customer:- Bajaj Auto,Ashokleyland,Tata Motors.

Duration:- March 1995 to June 1998.

Qualification:-

Advanced Diploma in Forging Technology from National Institute of foundry & Forge Technology.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from RKMS,Belurmath,W.B .Diploma in Business management & Information technology from All india institute of Business management & studies . Chennai. IIM Member.
