Initiating and conceptualization of Engineering documents/drawings such as P&ID, cable block diagrams, cable routing, control room layouts, cause and effect diagrams, plant lay out, instrument specification, philosophies, control system specification, junction boxes and wiring termination details.
Review equipment specifications, process data sheets (PDS), piping and material specifications, general arrangement (GA) drawings, Area classification drawings, fire and gas detector layout drawings and other relevant documents.

Currently responsible for all instrumentation and process engineering activities relating to the FEED and detailed engineering for Four Gathering Stations (M1, M2, M3, M4 ) and new 100,000 Bb/Day Oil/GAS Production Facility (I/R GOSP) which will include Gas Compression, Gas pipeline, water treating and water injection facilities and Power Generation Facilities. Primary Responsibilities
Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems associated with Ras lanuf harbour (3 Jetties) one of these Jetties for cold products (Ethylene, LBG, Propylene and C4) and also maintenance of loading Arms for nine products. Other duties include supervision for instrument maintenance activity and overhauling activity and replacement of obsolete items in Ras lanuf Harbor Area.
Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to equipment component level of 869M Fiscal Metering Microcomputers (45). HC900 density, Microcomputers (9), Sentinel Remote Terminal Unit (13), Helios mainframe, Multiprocessor SCADA Computers (2) and all associated Peripheral Equipment’s including Modems, Printers, Telemetry Conversion Modules, etc.
Maintenance and repair of 9 metering skids and 6 prover skids.
Maintenance of Metering skids each consist of 3 or 4 streams utilizing either Orifice plates (Ethylene), (-102 º C), Positive displacement meters or Turbines to measure product, the instruments used on each stream are Pressure transmitters, Remote temperature devices, Current to pneumatic converters, Position indication transmitters, Motor Operated Actuators and Pneumatic Actuators. Prover skids are all unidirectional using hydraulic plunger valve to lunch the sphere. The instrumentation used on each Prover consists of Pressure transmitters, Differential pressure switch, Remote temperature devices, Current to pneumatic converters, Position Indication transmitter, Motor operated actuators, hydraulic power pack and sphere switches.
(The system at RasLanuf also consists of two Master Meters that are proven automatically utilizing an existing prover skid thereby using one prover to prove meters on (3) individual skids, this is done due to the product temperature of the two skids utilizing master meters being very low (-40 to -50 º C)
