Reported on major government programs, projects, discussions and debates involving various ethnic, political, business, religious groups and agencies.
Nominated (1992) as independent media member to the Board of Inspectors investigating the federal government’s rural water and road projects under Nigeria’s largest rural development programs.
Participated in regular discussions on strategies for story research, production, editorial policy, growth and development of the company, including budgeting and resource allocation.

Hired by Vanguard upon graduation to set up and lead a political team and bring hard news into its menu.
Worked with other leading Nigerian publications; such as The Guardian, the Concord, and Punch.
Served as media member and contributor to the national workshops and committee on Nigeria’s Grassroots Political Education organized to format projects in boosting democratic participation.
