U.S. Army Health Clinic Schofield Barracks - Wahiawā, HI - February 2016 to March 2017 I would check the computer and see what a patient need done and then print lables out and call the patient back, asked patients name and date of birth and proceed to draw there blood, finger stick, heel stick, blood time, sweat test, urine and lable tubes before patient left.I shield tubes that need to be cover and on ice. Pack and prepare item to be shipped to the outland and main land. I work as a Medical Assistant 2 days a week. Calling patients to the back by last names, checking there blood pressure, temperature, wieght. I asked them the reason for the visit and note it in the computer for the doctor and after the doctor has seen the patient I update everything in the computer. I worked on the floors drawing blood from patients that where admitted to the hospital. On the floors I push a cart around stocked with everything a Phlebotomist need and my hand set printing off labels with patient's name and date of birth on label.
