Of importance, I have been out of the nursing profession for just shy of 2 years due to a major illness and subsequent surgery which left me unable to fulfill my obligations as a nurse. During this time, I had time to analyze my life and what was important to me. I missed being an active part of a profession in which I was both passionate and compassionate about. I spent several hours’ soul searching and trying to decide if I should give up my career and start over, but my mind, and my heart told me to persevere and stay in the nursing profession. Having been out of work after working both a full and part time position, and working seven days a week, I feel that I must stay in my beloved profession, and search for a position that once again could complete my world, and give me the opportunity to share with others the knowledge and skill set that I have gained through my years of hard work and dedication. I am eager to gain a position once again, and become a valuable part of your team!
