As a clinician, I actively carry a full load of patients most every day (12-16 per day). I am responsible for the evaluation and treatment of various disorders of the spine, pelvis, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle. I have a strong manual therapy background and actively employee the use of various mobilizations and manipulations improve patient function along with detailed and specific exercise programs to increase strength and function.

I am actively involved in the treatment of athletes at various stages of recovery form immediate post-operative to functional training and drills. This is done at the clinic or at the schools.

I have well over 300 hours of continuing education in the field of orthopedics, and have several physicians refer their tougher shoulder cases to me specifically. This includes the team physicians for several area high schools as well as the community college in town and from the University of Missouri team doctors in Columbia.

With wellness staff, instituted a program of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). This is a device worn for a specified period that downloads blood sugar levels across a time period and allows us to more accurately plan the administration and management of individuals with diabetes

Develop the concept of PREHAB, an exercise and nutritional concept, and implementing this product line to schools in the area.

Develop dictation system and forms that are compliant with Medicare regulations and are actively used to replace 700 and 701 forms. This provided a clear and more legible form of documentation that also sufficed to meet the strict regulatory guidelines of Medicare.

Previous manager of the worker’s compensation injuries for the hospital including reporting injuries, securing doctor’s appointments, case management, and arranging light duty.

Plan and assist in acquiring sponsors for annual golf tournament.

Develop managers club using ATC’s in an outreach program with local schools for high school juniors and seniors interested in sports medicine as a career.
