“Crisis Intervention: The Key to Crisis Management”

Faculty in-service presentation of a Crisis Intervention/Management Procedure for the staff and faculty of Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW). This program was specifically designed to help attendees to recognize students and co-workers that are having difficulty handling daily life stresses. Recognizing that a problem exists is the first step in preventing a crisis situation. Stress management and enhanced coping skills were taught as a primary intervention for the prevention of a potential crisis. Stress reducing activities were integrated into the program to allow the faculty to experience a way to use them in their own classes. It was recommended that they intervene immediately when early signs are identified.
