KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Created a design methodology that saved a minimum of 50% in development costs for a large electronic manufacturing company.

Eliminated the need for a T1 line for system performance testing resulting in a savings of thousands of dollars every year for Motorola, Inc.

Discovered a design flaw and successfully implemented a cost and time effective design solution that saved a computer manufacturing company several major sales contracts.

While recreating a problem found in the field where the customer’s devices were entering a unrecoverable state of constantly resetting during power brown out conditions, I identified the area in the power up SW code that was susceptible to the power brown out conditions.

Member of TQM Team responsible for testing ARRIS cable boxes.

Developed and conducted software verification tests for the ARRIS legacy and advanced digital cable boxes on the Comcast digital head end system.

Senior Staff Test Engineer

Member of Digital Addressable Controller (DAC) Systems Integration and Test Team (SI&T).

Developed and conducted software verification tests for the Motorola DAC 6000 TV cable head-end system.

Conducted performance tests on multiple configurations of the DAC. Testing was conducted on every major software release, approximately every 18 months. Reports were generated summarizing the test results which were reviewed by all the managers involved with the project.

Assisted Development Engineering in finding solutions for hundreds of DAC system software issues.
