Executive Office Manager, April 2007 – January 2011

Responsibilities:

Delivered quality service to 50 buildings in 14 cities around the Bay Area. Supported President and Vice-president in all aspects of operations, including client and vendor support and crew coordination and task assignment, inventory management and additionally I was responsible for the accounting department in full, including billing, A/P, A/R and collections in general. I did HR functions hiring and training, new people. I designed and issued training manuals for employees (I am a graphic designer) and run several email and postcards marketing campaings.

Responsibilities/ Accomplishments:

This company had 60 cargo ships in service around the world. I successfully transported different crews from one ship to another by plane. We also have a cruise, the “Australis” and I was in charge of its marketing. The ship has its base at Viña del Mar, Chile, doing the route Viña del Mar – Punta Arenas, (near the Antarctic). I take care of the trips of all the executives and their families around the world. I worked directly under the President of the company, Jorge Menendez Ross.

Skills: Accurate knowledge of cities around the world, routes, carriers, and prices. A large part of the job responsibilities was to know how to negotiate the group’s tickets prices and get a good deal. Travel Visa arrangements, passports compliance, VIP arrangements, and car and hotel reservations.

Renault Argentine. Travel Office Manager. July 1987 – January 1990

Responsibilities/ Accomplishments:

Renault (Régie Nationale des Usines Renault) is a French national company. They are an automotive industry that has industrial plants in many parts of the world. I was the travel office’s manager at the headquarters in Argentina.

I handled the travels of the President, Michel Erussard, 12 directors and 1200 employees, with complex travel arrangements for VIPs.

My job was programming their travels (always in different flights for security’s matters) including perfect timing in the flight’s connections, coordination of VIP’s handling at airports and hotels reservations, automobile or chauffeur arrangements and visas arrangements. I had to keep track of passports expirations and visas expirations of all executives and families that used to travel internationally to get the documentation renewed as soon as it expires. I also handled the heavy domestic traffic between the industrials plant in Cordoba to the headquarters in Buenos Aires. All this travels were by plane.

Skills: Service of V.I.P clients, excellent communication; reliability at all times and trustworthiness keeping confidential information, filing management, travel arrangements and travel documentation management.
