MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER March 2010 - January 2012 (Part Time)
FAVOURITE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, INDIA.
Designed and developed of switchgear products which transmit power from transmission line to house.
Checked worked to ensure accuracy of drawing format and organization, dimension, tolerance
Prepared specification list, drawing, bill of materials (BOM) including standard parts. Ensure customer specifications are met. Prepared process diagram for manufacturing components.
Tested the component for dimension, operational effectiveness. Checked list quality from tolerance to packaging. Recorded the data for different project.
MECHANICAL DESIGN INTERN JULY 2012 - JUNE 2013
KAUSHIK ENGINEERING WORKS
Worked with Blown Film Extrusion machine design for production of Plastic bags.
Designed and Modified 3D solid model, dimensional drawing, main assembly drawing and Part drawing for toggle mechanism.
Assisted to solving problem in the shop floor by working closely with production people involved in machining, assembly and testing. Updating/Creating design drawings, Product Data Management system.
Attended Industrial Training at ASHVIN FASTNERS LTD., India.
Data Analyst at Xerox NOVEMBER 2015 – March 2017
XEROX CORPORATION
Understanding of data structure and requirement to Extract, Transform and Loading of data.
Worked Data Manipulation and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD’s) and its implementation to keep track of historical data.
Projects
DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF TENSION CLIP ANGLE FOR AIRFRAME STRUCTURE Winter 2013
Designed Tension clip angel from scratch which used to support Airframe structure.
Tension clip are used to transmit relatively light tension loads from clip to clip or another member.
Designed formed and extruded angle clip in Ansys for Linear and Nonlinear static structure analysis.
Generated fine Meshing to accurate results to compare results from Airframe Stress analysis and Sizing by Michael C. Y. NIU. Book.
Improved the results for more load capability with safety factor consideration.
DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF HYDRAULIC PUSH ARM IN AEROSPACE Summer 2014
Hydraulic Push arm is used on aircraft to move and actuate landing gear, flaps and brakes. In many larger aircraft they use for flight controls, spoilers, thrust reversers.
Designed Hydraulic push arm from given dimension. Designing safe, light weight and less costly component.
Assembled parts in Ansys to make sure load transfer capacity and frequency of displacement.
Applied Finite element method for static structure linear analysis.
DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF HEAT SINK Fall 2014
Heat sink is a heat transfer device that commonly used in computers and other electronic devices to extract heat generated in components such as microprocessors.
Designed Heat sink in Solidwork from physical model’s dimension. Analyzed heat flow from bottom of the sink to fin in Ansys Thermal.
Tried different fin design (rectangular, square, round) for efficient heat flow. Compared results with hand calculation, experimental calculation. Also designed the program in MATLAB to calculate nodal temperature at fin.
