Business Solution Delivery (BSD)

Business Solution Delivery project is to analyze, design, develop more robust solutions to enhance client’s data warehouse applications developed using Microsoft business intelligence platform. Primary objective is to incorporate new business requirements with faster turnaround time to generate effective Data Warehouse solutions for business users to help them in decision making, forecasting and analyzing.

Responsibilities:

Used scrum(Agile) process for software development with 3-week long sprint.

The objective of this project was to isolate an existing Micron manufacturing site data warehouse systems and re-structure it to full standalone production capacity to be handled by the local Facility support teams, removing all dependencies from between the 2 companies.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical owner in driving the project work to its completion.

Interacted with Lfoundry business owners and teams to define the project expectations, deliverables and timelines.

It was complete rewrite and replication of code logic since no utility was present to convert the Datastage ETL to SSIS packages.

Responsibilities:

Understand the existing ETL code in Data stage and convert them to SSIS 2008/2012.

Fixing the defects and issues occurred during the deployments to ensure successful code run.

Involved in end to end validations and testing of the complex ETL’s to meet all the business test criteria’s.

Effectively participated in weekly client communications with Business Analysts.

Worked as a developer in creating complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, tables, views and other T-SQL codes and SQL joins for applications.
