nServed as Director of Operations

nResponsible for complete day to day operations of over 60 crude oil trucks. Managed up to six different geographic hauling areas simultaneously.

nSupervised the daily dispatch team, coordinated maintenance requirements, and assisted the safety department in ensuring all FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulatory statutes were implemented.

nGrew the company from 24 trucks to 65 trucks using an owner operator model.

nDeveloped policies, standard operating procedures, training manuals, and supervised process improvements.

Pacer Energy Marketing June 2000 – December 2013

nServed as Operations Manager. Started in the ticketing department, moved to dispatch, then progressed into the operations department. Responsible for inventory control at company owned locations.

nManaged daily crude operations hauling from producer field locations into refineries, pipelines, railcar facilities, and gathering stations.

nKey player in growing the company from 17 trucks to 70 trucks. Sourced trucks and crude oil tankers, developed purchasing specifications, and managed the purchase of all transportation equipment.

nEnlisted in 1979 then was selected as an officer candidate through the Enlisted Commissioning Program.

nReached rank of Captain in the infantry. Served last 3 years in a Marine Corps Special Operations Unit
