EMPLOYMENT OVERVIEW:

ROHRBACK COSASCO SYSTEMS 2011-Pres

Drafter/Designer Modify and create production drawings for pipe corrosion monitoring systems. Currently work with Technical Support Engineering department generating system layouts comprised of pipe access fittings for coupon holders and probe systems being mounted on pipe systems. Also, design the ICMS (Integrated Corrosion Monitoring System) electronic monitoring systems alongside the current systems engineer. This includes full cabinet layouts, wiring diagrams, component details, and researching necessary components to ensure proper connections. Continuously working with team leads to improve the documentation system for a more efficient design process.

LITE SOLAR 2010-2010

Lead Designer/Supervisor Solar panel layout, design, and calculations for module mounting systems for ground, carport and trellis systems and also roof trellis and direct mounting techniques. Worked with AutoCAD 2011 using paper and model space for accurately scaled drawings, different layouts utilizing the layering system and different rotations on drawings in coordination with the North directional arrow. Supervised 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm.

PACIFIC RENEWABLES 2010-2010

Lead Designer Solar Installation Design (2 month contract). Worked with AutoCAD 2011 using paper and model space for creating accurately scaled drawings. Was hired on as a designer and achieved status of lead after 2 days on the job. The projects entail the complete layout and design of solar panels and distribution system of solar energy. My main task has been organizing the CAD group and setting up drafting procedures for operation and also creating single line schematic diagrams of the energy distribution system.

TOUCHDOWN TECHNOLOGIES 2008-2008

Designer, Electronics- Design and manufacturing of SDRAM Testing Boards, Used AutoCAD 2008.

Designed and created mask designs for electroplating processing on substrates in the manufacturing of LTCC computer boards. Each set of masks required 12-16 mask designs, area plating calculations, and stripping drawings down to individual mask/layers manipulating all blocks to create .dxf with only one layer. After design has gone through approval process, I uploaded and archived individual masks for later retrieval and revision availability.

Drafter, Manufacturing – Architectural Moldings for Luxury Homes and Businesses using AutoCAD 2004 LT.

NATIONAL RV 2005-2007

Drafter, Manufacturing Engineering–Class “A” Motor homes, drawings were produced in AutoCAD 2007 and 3D modeling.

Designed and implemented vendor products into manufacturing drawings for new RV models per company objectives and effectiveness. Also did designs for custom cabinetry for fit throughout coaches and routed and designed electrical harnesses for the entire coach. Created installation drawings in 3D of various new products for all coaches. (Business closed).

FLEETWOOD ENTERPRISES 2004-2005

Drafter, Manufacturing Engineering– Travel Trailers Drawings were produced using AutoCAD 2002 and IronCAD

Updated and revised drawings for the design and development of travel trailer. Design for manufacturability new hybrid all on my own using IronCAD, including side walls, cabinetry, and plumbing. IronCAD is a 3D drafting program and most of the work done was in 3D. This includes BOM reading and manipulation in a separate program (SMART TERM). In charge of designing of new hybrid towable trailer.

4 WARD TECH

Drafter, Drafting Reproductions, AutoCAD 2000 and 2004 programs were used. 2004

Created reproductions of manual drawings to CAD format, laid out as-built drawings on site, and drawing input with the ArchiBUS system. After approximately 45days, was offered a lead position overseeing six drafters. Drawings were created using a raster overlay after scanning original.

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION, INC

Engineering Support, Jet Propulsion Laboratory – Contractor, AutoCAD 200*-****-****

Created drawings from engineer mark-ups for the Deep Space Communications Network of JPL. Generated drawings for HVAC, MCC and Servo Systems. Majority of work was electro-mechanical with cable layouts, wire diagrams, schematics, PCB’s, and electronic enclosure systems with subassembly drawings, including BOM’s. Worked with a specific team in the process of regenerating old manual drafting drawings into AutoCAD. Manipulated background and revised drawings using AutoCAD Raster program. Also did a majority of drawing archiving by converting drawings from .DWG and .DXF format to PDF and .JPG and from PDF to .DWG format. Programs used were AutoCAD 2002, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Mechanical Desktop using GD&T Y14.5 for close tolerance. (Business closed).
