Certification: CCNA Routing and Switching (CSCO12924972) Valid till January 2019
Professional Course: CompTIA Linux+, CCNP Routing and Switching
Applications/ Tools: GNS3, Wireshark, Packet Tracer, Boson, VMware Workstation, Mininet, Putty, OPNET
Switching Technologies: VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, Ether Channel
Routing Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, BGP
Other Protocols: HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, MPLS
Operating System: Windows XP/7/8/10, Linux (Ubuntu) ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Implemented and configured Queuing Policies in OPNET Mar. 2016
Designed 3 scenarios, each for a queuing policy that are FIFO, Priority Queuing (PQ) and Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) in Riverbed Modeler to determine which queuing policy can be used in best effort delivery
Configured a scenario by initially choosing network scale, map, and appropriate technology
Deployed Routers, Clients and Servers and edited their attributes according to a policy and QoS schemes.
Compared results of packet loss, queuing delay and queue delay variation with each queuing policy Software Defined Network (Amazon Web Services) Apr. 2015
Implemented cloud service using Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provided by Amazon Web Services
Created instances (EC2) with Amazon Linux AMI and storage using CLI in different availability zones
Installed those instances and created security groups and generated a key pair needed to SSH
Deployed Elastic Load Balancer between these two instances in different zones using CLI
Newly configured instances were accessed using SSH and verified ELB URL in a browser MPLS L3 VPN using OSPF and BGP on GNS3 Mar. 2015
Configured OSPF and enabled MPLS on PE and P routers, and also MP-BGP between PE routers
Created VRF’s on PE routers, assigned RD and RT values, attach PE-CE links to newly created VRF’s
Configured OSPF on CE routers, then redistributed BGP routes into OSPF and vice-versa on PE router
