Formed and trained the company’s cross-functional PFMEA Team; chair weekly meetings that interface with identified GM Groups (Design Release Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, New Model Integration, Warranty/Quality, & LEAN Manufacturing Initiatives) to drive PFMEA issues to resolution. Facilitating change to push the “old system” out and to drive individual department ownership of PFMEA issues, on time and to planned corrective actions. Conduct timely re-reviews to validate that the changes are working to support lower scrap, better direct run rate scores, & higher initial Global Customer Audit (GCA) quality scores.

Continually work as lead advocate and campaign for PFMEA improvement funding to reduce assembly plant risk, targeted process high PFMEA RPN Scores/Risk Limiting Scores from many available corporate budgets (i.e. from LEAN MFG., PFMEA Improvement, Warranty Reduction, and Manpower Reduction Budgets & Initiatives).

Assigned as representative to the Continuous Improvement, Built in Quality-Level 4, and Standardization committees that serve as champions and work for group compliance as part of the GM Global Manufacturing System initiatives.
