PERSONAL PROFILE

I am 46 years of age, retired from the Engineering Department of the Sri Lanka Navy on the16th January 2006 after serving a period of 12 years, excluding the 04 year training period, in the capacity of a Technical Officer (Engineering) in its engineering department gained experience in engineering functions in many types of ships, crafts including establishments affiliated to the Sri Lanka Navy from 31st May 1994..Also I have experienced and worked as a Senior Technician of Caterpillar dealer in Qatar 08th April 2006 to 08th May 2008. I have been worked as a Maintenance Engineer in Oceanwide Marine Elechtromech.Cont.LLC at Sharjah. (11th December 2008 to 02nd August 2010).Moreover I have been worked as a Workshop Manager of Perkins Dealer of Macsa (Pvt)Ltd from 04th April 2011 to 11th April 2013. I was employing as Mechanical Engineer (ship maintenance) at Oceanwide Marine Elechtromech.Cont.LLC at Sharjah from 10th August 2013 to 19th July 2015.Currently I am working as self employed(Engineering Field ) at Sri Lanka.

The details of my qualifications and experience are comprehensively given below. A. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I possess sound practical knowledge and experience in running as well as preventive Maintenance and ability to rectify all type of defects in the following fields:

Assist for major Overhauling/Top overhauling, Breakdown Repairs, Routine maintenance of many types of engines, troubleshooting and repairing of PERKINS Electronic Engines with EST. Ordering spare parts packages by using PERKINS SPI 2 for Major repairs.

Planned work scheduling, Detailing & supervision of mechanics, Maintenance of engineering documents. All Perkins warranty repairs handling with online Perkins warranty system (UK).

Assisting technical staff including assistant engineers and technicians for target oriented achievement for completion of jobs in high technical standards and customer satisfaction.

Carry out major Overhauling/Top Overhauling, Breakdown repairs, Routine maintenance of many types of CATTERPILLAR engines, troubleshooting, Mechanical

/Electronic engine diagnostics, ordering spare part package by using of the SIS.

Carry out major Overhauling/Top Overhauling and breakdown maintenance/Routine maintenance of engines such as MTU, CATTERPILLAR at Sri Lanka Navy.

Specially carry out major Overhauling/Top Overhauling and breakdown maintenance/Routine maintenance of MTU engines at Sri Lanka Navy. Eastern Naval Dock yard Fast Attack Craft work shop periodically more than 06 Years.

Repair/maintenance of all type of pump and pumping system such as Seawater, fresh water, fuel, lubrication oil etc..Maintenance of all types of Machineries, Propulsion Plants, oil/water separators and Turbo/ Super Chargers.

Also have well knowledge of working on computer literacy such as Ms-Words and Excel.

Also I can speak Hindi language in good manner when ever required, while working with the customers.
