. I bought the hotel licence and transformed this into a boutique hotel by
designing and re-branding it.
. The boutique hotel included a restaurant that was open for lunches and
dinners.
. I was involved in all aspects of the hotel including design & fitout,
pre-opening & opening, sales & marketing, p.r., branding, staff
recruitment & training, strategic planning, development & execution,
forecasting & budgets, increasing ROI, management of staff and guest
satisfaction. I managed and supervised all departments in the hotel
including, front office & rooms division, housekeeping, food & beverage,

division.
. Revenue increased by 75% in the 1st year.

addition, I was responsible for controlling the marketing, customer

. When I arrived the occupancy was 42%. Under my management, occupancy
increased to 78%.

. I was appointed to sell the hotel licence on the owner's behalf. The
hotel was sold in 2004.

In an effort to learn more about different cultures, business practices and
international hotel management systems, I went to Barcelona to work in a
Hotel occupying the role of Food and Beverage Manager.
