Currently Working as Design Engineer at Economy Process Solutions Pvt Ltd. Chembur, Mumbai.
Economy Process Solutions is manufacturing company of process equipments like ATFD (Agitated thin film dryers), agitated thin film evaporators, liquid-liquid extractors, multiple effect evaporators (MEE) Heat exchangers and vacuum systems. It supplies several systems to the process industry for wide variety of applications in pharmaceutical, natural product, polymer, petrochemical, pesticide, dye, agrochemical, speciality chemicals.
Job Duties
Using computer-aided design to create detailed designs and specifications of rotary and static equipment like ATFD, ATFE, SPDU.
Making piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for process equipments as well as vacuum systems including dry screw vacuum pumps.
Creating GA and fabrication drawings of process equipments & heat exchangers using AutoCad as per manufacturability.
Making solid & casted 3D models of equipment like Heat Exchanger and Vacuum system using solidworks software as per supplied data.
Design of heat exchangers, reactors, columns and pressure vessels using PV-Elite software.
Mechanical Design calculations for the pressure equipments as per ASME Sec-VIII Div-1 standards.
Control and maintain the basic design standards of equipments as per mechanical design principles, theories of failures, ASME code.
Communicating with the customers and clients for review and appraisals of design and drawings of pressure vessels.
Making of whole equipment piping and structure layout as per discussion with client.
Checking of drawings made by trainee engineers as per fabrication codes and standards.
Preparation of bill of material of each equipment for order.
