Direct a team of 100 people through four Senior Managers. Responsible for over $125MM in federal business. Oversee strategic and tactical operations and services including telecommunications, networks, servers, hosted systems and services. Additionally work closely with engineers and administrators on data storage, data and network operations, systems security, business continuity and disaster recovery. My teams also perform systems administration, software licensing, hardware and software acquisition, deployment and administration, distributed platforms, desktops, vendor and contracts management. I develop the annual operating budgets and provide fiscal direction for unit technology, equipment, and systems with an emphasis on the cost-effectiveness of the enterprise platforms. My teams and I are totally accountable for the availability and performance of the enterprise platforms. Working exclusively for Dell Managed Services I led teams to integrate Information Technology activities for companies such as Cedars Sinai, WellPoint, Boeing and Honeywell. During this effort I insured creation and delivery of services to include “follow the sun” service desk, data centers, deskside support organizations, asset management, software tracking, and all other IT related activities. Technical lead on all programs and directed computer and server builds, networking, security, wireless, call centers, and all other hands on technical aspects. Worked with Telecom from the demarcation (demark) to the destination to bring in various services to include VoIP.
Working at WellPoint and WellPoint I directed work on many HIPPA systems and systems dedicated to Healthcare.

Onsite Delivery Manager with Honeywell in Phoenix, AZ. Responsible for LanDesk, security the McAfee ePO for entire enterprise, and all Asset Management. Upgraded global ePO servers and software to meet current hardware and software requirements. Also upgraded all LanDesk operations with new hardware and software. Traveled internationally to France to upgrade the European installation of LanDesk. For Asset Management we used LanDesk and full physical inventory to get a complete baseline and then track all items.

Working exclusively for Dell Managed Services I led teams to integrate Information Technology activities for Philips, Inc., at their international location in Eindhoven, Netherlands. During this effort I insured creation and delivery of services to include “follow the sun” service desk, data centers, deskside support organizations, software tracking, directed computer and server builds, networking, security, wireless, and other hands on technical aspects. Prepared all project plans using Microsoft Project for all international teams. I accomplished this work through multinational matrixed organizations and partnerships with Atos and other firms that complied with all domestic and international regulations. Worked with Telecom from the demarcation (demark) to the destination to bring in various services to include VoIP. Through consultation I also assisted domestic divisions of the customer in verifying Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Senior Program Manager 9/2003 – 11/2004
Due to my overall skill structure I was able to completely upgrade all of Camden’s remote properties and move them from antiquated IT practices and equipment to modern state-of-the-art communications with the Central IT data center. Through direct leadership and hands-on involvement I developed and designed plans for rewiring, installation of wireless, upgrade of computer equipment, and implementation of the overall program. The overall budget for this effort was $1MM. Through oversight and control of all aspects the program was completed on time and under budget by $250K. Performed hands on work as well as design of the program. Work included computer setup, repair, telecom, wireless, and other activities.

Instituted a newly envisioned Client Services Department for BCBS. Utilized knowledge and vision to establish processes, procedures, and all Stands of Operation. Requiring re-engineering and a culture change moved the company from a 95% terminal environment to a 95% Personal Computer structure with both client/server and Mainframe connectivity. Established all budgets and hired all personnel for this effort. Managed to HIPAA requirements for handling medical documents and PII. Established IT governance process.

I was responsible for testing and evaluation of the TennSpeed II software that was developed to buy and sell Natural Gas nationwide.
