Temporal Data Management Platform: As part of a broader initiative to manage financial data, I am working on the design and implementation of a Curve Management module which will help with the persistence and management of time series data. The module primarily in Java is expected to work with both SQL and NoSQL persistent stores. Perl/Python scripting will be used for establishing permanent data feeds.
Technology Stack: Java, Python, Perl, Linux, Cassandra, MySQL, and PostGreSQL.

Custom Report for a HedgeFund Client: Developed a Python script to create daily custom reports, with trade data being pulled from multiple TIBCO busses.
JIRA migration: Worked with developer and Business Users to implement and customize JIRA to work effectively for the users. The goal behind the customization was the ease of use for L1 Business and L1/L2 technical teams. This meant minimizing number of clicks, auto populating fields, narrowing down and having clear choices for selections.
Daily Management tasks: One of the product I supported was a risk management tool within the trading platform. During the transition of the tool to the newer platform, we had to migrate the rules and run analysis on the type of rules each client had. I used Perl to create a report on client specific rules and the type of rules to assist in the migration task.
Market Data: Lead the requirements analysis phase of a major Market data initiative. This involved everything from reviewing vendor offerings, working with senior management, putting together pricing models, creating RFPs and ultimately selecting a vendor of choice, managing the market data project including talking to Business users and writing requirements using Agile methods (user stories)
Service Cloud/Sales Force Implementation: Evaluated various support products and implemented Service Cloud(Sales Force) for our L1 support team to manage email and phone traffic efficiently and in a timely manner. This meant answering emails from Sales Force(Service Cloud), having it integrated with Sales Force platform, which in turn showed up as tickets/issues for the client in Sales Force. Any representative could then have a complete picture of any open and recent issues to be able to seamlessly speak and help the client.
