During my tenure with Wall -Mart, involved in managing & testing Oracle - Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) data migration from AIX (Unix) V13.2 to Linux v15.0

RPAS stands for Retail Predictive Application Server and is a Retailing package solutions provided by ORACLE (originally from Retek). The Oracle Retail Predictive Solutions are a set of products used for generating forecasts, developing trading plans, and analyzing customer behavior. These products use predictive technology to examine historical data and to predict future behavior.

The applications are customized to MVP (Merchandise value Planner) and UP (Unit Planner). RPAS is a combination of Database, front end client and configuration tools.

Merchandising Value Planning :

Measures are stored at Sub-category level

Levels above are the rollup of the lower level

Provides data at Week, Month(4-5-4) and Day level

Used by all divisions across Wal-Mart

Implemented in US,CA,UK and CHILE for WM

Implemented in US for SAMS which is called MFP instead of MVP

During my tenure with US Bank, involved in managing & testing various projects developed using Clear X change(cXc) & Wealth Management banking Application

Clear X change(cXc) :

Clear X change(cXc) is a U.S. based digital payments network that enables customers to quickly and securely send payments to anyone using only the receivers email address or mobile device number. Currently, Pay A Person payments in Online Banking and Mobile Banking via a receivers email address or mobile device number is implemented using Fiserv Pop money solution. The overall purpose of this project is to use cXc instead of Pop money for all Pay a Person transactions done via a receivers email address or mobile device number. Pop money will continue to be used for Pay A Person payments via the receivers account number. Phase 2 of this project is to continue converting existing Pay A Person functionality onto the cXc platform. Phase 1 of this project laid the foundational work to enable cXc transactions Phase 2 will implement additional functionality to achieve parity with existing functionality

Wealth Management (WM) :

Currently Online Banking Application (OLB) provides access to Self Service features including updating address, phone and email information, alerts and a Contact Us section. But, Brokerage and/or Trust customers do not have access to Online Banking Application and hence do not have access to editor manage their profile information through the Online Banking platform. The Brokerage customers access the Sci-vantage site to edit/manage their profile information. Â With this project, US Bank Wealth customers that are no already enrolled to Online Banking, to enroll to Online Banking using their Brokerage or Trust account information. Successful enrollment will allow the customers to login to online banking and view their brokerage and trust accounts and other restricted accounts such as loans, lease, lines, and mortgage(restricted access). It will also provide them the ability to avail login assistance features within online banking

Commercial loan documents (CL Docs) :

U.S. Bank Document Solutions Group is undertaken a project to replace the loan document system, Loan Calculator, which is running on Windows XP, an operating system that will not be supported beyond 2014.

Magenic is engaged in the application renewal project that delivers a new loan document system, Commercial Lending Document Ordering and Creation System (CL DOCS)

The application comprises of 8 groups and the test execution is done in 7 drops, where each drop will include certain set of screens to be tested, Group 1 deals with majorly General information, Loan information, different types of additional terms, different types of FCD, different types of FRD, Loan Facility Fee, Overdraft Protection, and Temporary Increase screens Group 2 deals with Loan Amendment Information, Payment Default Screen and Amortization Calculation screens. Group 3 deals with how different parties like Company Individual, Trust, Land Trust are linked to a particular loan under a deal. Group 4 deals with Collateral summary, Collateral information, Overdraft protection, Loan facility screens Group 5 deals with Real Estate, Real Estate Amendment, Real Estate existing and different state level Real Estate screen Group 7 deals with EFS and Financing Statement SOS/RER screens. Group 8 deals with Dashboard, administration, Search, Notification and Additional Info-Production Summary screens

Agent needs to perform Party search; and if the Party is not found then Agent must add The Party information and submit to the CIS system, in order to obtain a CIS ID. However if the Party is found and authentication process has been successfully performed, Agent will directly be guide to the Customer Session Dashboard. Agent can select Open Account link on the Left hand menu in the Customer Session Dashboard, Then Agent will be able to select Deposit product in the Product Section screen to open account.
