Lone Star Community College – Provisional Chemical Engineering courses (Fall 2012 - Spring 2014), GPA: 3.84. Experience
Process Engineering Project Intern at Hargrove EPC (October 2016 – December 2016) Developed pipeline hydraulics models for multiphase flows, performed flow assurance simulations in Aspen HYSYS and proposed a set of recommendations for debottlenecking of client’s condensate recovery system.
Chemical Engineer Summer Internship at South Hampton Resources (June – August 2015): Redesigned caustic scrubbing unit for continuous steady-state operations and proposed multiphase improvement plan for increased process control, efficiency and safety in addition to an economic analysis of the proposed solutions. Participated in the resolution of existent problems with minimization of benzene content in products due to equipment failure. Performed day-to-day monitoring, statistical analysis and performance troubleshooting of HDS hydrotreating units. Analyzed product loss and its economic impact during loading/unloading operations.
Chemical Engineer Summer Internship at South Hampton Resources (June – July 2014): Developed process monitoring and equipment data analysis utilities in VBA for pentane/hexane purification and separation units. Proposed improved process conditions for increased hydrotreating catalyst performance based on existing plant data analysis. Proposed a new production process that could increase company’s pentane production by 5% and its implementation into the existing plant infrastructure.
