Publication’s:

oPublished a paper on “Secure Communication of Images with Bandwidth Conservation Scheme” which deals with a novel approach for highly secure, stable and simplified communication system. This paper was published in International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Vol. 3, Issue 12, December 2014. It was published online on December 28, 2014 and is available at IJAREEIE JOURNALS for 24/7 access.

oPublished a paper on “Direct Broadcast Satellite System” which deals with the advances of satellite technology, System design, principle of operation and applications, Hardware and Software requirements, Vendors who develop/supply hardware and software for the system in IEEE format as the final project report.

Master’s Course Projects:

Low Noise Amplifier- Design and Simulations

GaAs FET amplifier was designed with specifications for noise figure, gain and Microstrip substrate. Lumped elements were used in the project for input network; a quarter wave transformer and T-line for the output network were used. The transistor used to design the amplifier was NE38018c. Stability of the transistor is determined using CAMAD. Matching networks were designed using MATCH. All the specifications were combined to build the Low noise amplifier in ADS and simulated at 1-3GHz range. Phase and magnitude of S- parameters were calculated using the design simulations.

Bachelor's Course Project:

Designed a “PROGRAMMABLE KEYBOARD USING FPGA”. In this project, we have enhanced our skills and knowledge in designing user programmable keyboard implementing on the most advanced FPGA board. The primary advantage of implementing this project is that a user can define their own constraints to reduce the redundancy and complexity. This whole project was carried out at ECILCOMPANY in strategic electronics division(S.E.D), for BRAHMOS technology,HYDERABAD.

Laboratory Skills:

CASCADE MICROTECH- Working with the Probe Station

Mastered the skill of working with the "semi-automatic probe station" Cascade Microtech. Have used it for MMIC testing and calibration. Hands on experience with mounting the various types of probes on the probe station and testing the MMIC chips. Measured the S-Parameters of the various components fabricated on the MMIC’s.

RF COMMUNICATION LAB:

Worked with the different Connectors, Cables, Mixers, Amplifiers, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer and also with the antennas for the different polarization techniques enhanced my skill set to another level.

Work experience:

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)-Internship

Title: Overview on Latest Telecom Technologies

Description:

A real time industrial fiber fusion techniques, the generations of mobile telecommunications technology and routing of optical fiber cables. Worked closely with industry related splicing and routing machines. Well versed with switching units for optical fiber communication between base stations.

Doordarshan (DD)-Internship

Title: Satellite communications

Description:

Working as a Technical intern at Doordarshan for 4 months on Satellite Communications, made me to explore the satellite uplink and downlink stations and to examine the transponder and also the techniques used to make a television programs and digitize the video and upload into the servers .

Technical Skills:

Software Tools : MATLAB, SIMULINK, Agilent ADS, Agilent VEE pro, Xilinx, RF design tools (MATCH, MSTRIP, CAMAD) .

Programming Languages: C, C++, VHDL, currently working on Python and Java platforms.

Hands on experience with network analyzer, oscilloscopes, PCB board mounting, spectrum analyzer measurements.

Well trained in S-parameter measurements using Probe station, working with coaxial conductors and working with the MMIC’s for S-parameter measurements. Currently working on MMIC’s.

Conferences:

Attended to the IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is the premier annual international meeting for technologists involved in all aspects of microwave theory and practice. It consists of a full week of events, including technical paper presentations, workshops, and tutorials, as well as numerous social events and networking opportunities.
