I’m a supply chain professional that emphasizes strong project planning by attention to detail, communication, and creation/implementation of plans based on historical data and accurate forecasting.

I have over 11 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience. Over the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of working as a Supply Chain Supervisor/Senior Supply Chain Planner and Buyer.

History

Lake Region Medical (formerly Accellent), 2005- 2016

A medical device manufacturing facility (TUV ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered) specializing in wire components and assemblies used for cardiovascular and neurovascular products for major medical device companies such as: Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Stryker, Johnson and Johnson and Abbot. Due to the Lake Region Medical acquisition, the Arvada facility is in the process of a full shut down of operations.

Supply Chain Supervisor / Senior Supply Chain Planner, 2011- 2016

As the Supply Chain Supervisor/Senior Supply Chain Planner I was responsible for the overall production schedule for the plant. I also supervised inventory specialists and receiving personnel.

Production Schedule: short term and long term capacity planning. Oracle MRP and ERP super user.

Inventory: Maintaining finished goods and intermediate inventories. Calculating and maintaining internal safety stocks to ensure availability of parts for both internal and external customers.

Oracle: Maintain the site ERP system (Oracle) to ensure correct data is entered so that planning, purchasing and production get accurate messages to fulfill customer needs.

Problem Solving: Analyzing work order variances for raw material and machine usages resulting in improved run rates and accurate inventories.

Efficiency: Work closely with purchasing to ensure the right level of raw material is purchased and staged for future requirements, often managed my own purchasing to ensure single point of contact, for both Kanban and Made to Order items.

Customer Service: I committed to confirm all sales orders in a timely manner (within 2 days).

Communication: Coordinate meetings with operations, quality and engineering teams to create expedited production plans for new and existing items to ensure schedules and customer requirements are met.

Leadership: Managed three direct reports; 2 Inventory Specialists and one Receiving Personnel.

Buyer / Planner, 2009 – 2011

Responsible for all raw material and MRO purchasing.

Maintained raw material safety stocks.

Oversaw wire room activities. Point of contact for any and all material quality, quantity and usage issues.

Worked to build and maintain positive relationships with outside service and raw material suppliers.

Worked closely with Customer Solutions to improve customer relations and understand what their forecasts were and how to move ahead with smoother production needs.

Developed production plans for all cellular production areas. Oversaw actual daily throughputs and reported shortages.

MRO Buyer / Supply Chain, 2005 – 2009

Ordered, scheduled and coordinated delivery of MRO needs for production. (Materials Required for Operations)

Expedited materials of tooling as necessary to keep production up and running.

Supplier performance management. Included selecting and managing the performance of suppliers and vendors. (4 times yearly)

Supported Maintenance, Engineering and Operations.

Single point of contact for all outside service vendors (OSV’s). Worked as a liaison between OSV’s and quality to determine next steps.

Responsible for coding invoices, matching PO’s, packing slips and sending to Accounts Payable for approval of payment.

Maintained purchasing files.

Replenished office supplies.
