Profile

I am an experienced Plant Manager, managing through a philosophy of team work and co-operation. I have taken organizations from a culture of adversarial competition between labour and management and turned them into highly efficient teams in both unionized and non-unionized companies. This has resulted in significant improvements in production quantity and quality resulting in an increase in profitability.

I work well in an environment where I am fully responsible for P&L. I have always met or more often exceeded my budgeted profit margins. I work well in all aspects of plant financial planning including operating, expense, maintenance and capital budgets.

I have a well-rounded experience in all facets of production and operations, from Technical Management, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety Management, Production Management, Environmental Management, and Sales. I have developed excellent customer relationships which have led to higher value sales which has also contributed to the P&L statement.
