You technology host digital coupon engine integrate POS system and deliver on line coupons to large grocery retailers.

Responsibilities:

Part of platform engineering team implements backend digital coupon engine functionalities. Typical functionality consist three layers included REST JSON end point, manager /dispatch business logical layer and EJB 3.0/JPA data store. Frame work use Jboss 7, scheduler, queue and dictionary caching..etc. Mac OS, Java, data structure, Intellij and Jboss 7 are day to day skill.

10/2013 – 3/2015: Web developer consultant

Genentech, South San Francisco, CA

Working as a web consultant/developer in Genetech’s document retrieve project, I am the solely developer working full stack, implement repository system for Genetech’s DNA/pharmaceutical documents retrieve system from end to end. Wrote entire web application from scratch from the very beginning of determine technologies, frame work foundations lay out to coding. Front end pages mostly implemented as JSF/Richfaces with some HTML and CSS, The backend was core Java, REST (services call for documents add, update and delete use EMC Documentum API), scheduler (documents dispatch to different repositories across world), JPA datastore (metadata only) and Oracle.

2011 –2013: Sr. software engineer

Sentient Energy, Burlingame, CA.

Sentient Energy design and implement smart power grid hardware and software. I am working as developer implemented software grid detect and analytic system. A software smart power grid detect system use Java + OpenDNP3 detect hardware(a embedding linux device hang on utility power line) data that above/below certain preset value (e.g current, temperature), software server collect thousands of device’s data, aggregated, provide analytic and chart report to utility data center. I am working all of the above except the embedding linux kernel. Technology included Java + openDNP for device detecting, Java, Spring, rest service and Hibernate for data collecting. Implemented portion of the front end projects use JQuery, Javascript, Highchart and HTML.
