42” New Main Oil Line Project for Zakum Development Company (ZADCO) (Saudi Arabia) – Project managed subcontracts and onsite works, controlling a $250M budget and leading 20 personnel and 250 labour force in laying a New Main Oil Line (NMOL) from Zakum Central Complex in the Persian Gulf to Zirku Island, and integrating it into existing framework by directing tie-in connections, shore pulling, onsite trenching, laying and back filling, as well as brownfield modifications and associated civil works.

Tie-in Platform & Scraper Deck Project for Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Arabia) – Led a $123M project to completion with a 40+% profit margin, expertly managing engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, installation, laying of sub-sea tie-in pipeline spools, and pre-commissioning – all in line with client’s specifications.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Steered engineering execution operations on Greenfield chemical projects from commencement to closure. Laid out project schedules for complex acid plant developments, performed engineering workload and man-hour estimation, monitored and reported on project progress, implementing troubleshooting solutions as needed.

Chemetics Project Execution Model – Contributed to the development of a custom Project Execution Model for the most diverse Aker Kvaerner business: personally outlined project phases, identified and listed project network activities, set deliverables, identified review gates and put gate evaluation system in place.

Chlor Alkali Plant for Atanor (Argentina) – Competently drove execution of engineering milestones for the project throughout its lifecycle, saving 25% on engineering man-hours.

Total South Pars Field Development (Ph. 2 & 3) for National Iranian Oil Company (Iran) - Rescued multimillion-dollar project, bringing it to timely completion with unprecedented 45% profit by supporting the inexperienced client-nominated subcontractor who lacked resources with material, skilled manpower, and technical back up.

Conversion from Conventional (CBM) to Single Point Mooring (SPM) for ADCO/SOFEC (UAE) – Running onshore fabrication, pushed American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) to accept spec-deviation and allow use of locally purchased steel plates, slashing procurement costs by $100K, cutting shipping times, and ensuring flexibility in procurement of material.

Al Shaheen Field Development Project, Pkg. II for Qatar General Petroleum Corporation/Maersk Oil (Qatar) – Running structural fabrication operations, conserved $100K in project costs, freeing up storage space and saving materials from imminent corrosion by utilizing company’s surplus steel.

Block 06 Al-Khalij & Halul Process Area Project for Elf Petroleum (Qatar) – Led the inaugural EPC project for the company, driving Basic Process Design and FEED Engineering as a key member of the Project Team.

CALM Buoys Project for Kuwait Oil Company (Kuwait) – Eliminated 15% project backlog within three weeks, saving the contract relationship by reinforcing the subcontractor’s team with additional welders.

Pipeline Project for Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Arabia) – Overcame storage and logistics challenges, seamlessly managing receipt, pre-fabrication and return shipping of 275 km of pipes between Saudi Arabia and UAE in line with all export/import requirements, achieving installation targets with no disruptions to production.
