A products liability/auto/wrongful death case against GM for the defective side saddle fuel tank design of their pickup trucks. Case was tried early 1993 with a jury verdict of $105 million, including $101 million in punitive damages. The verdict was appealed by GM and was eventually settled in September of 1995 with three other cases.
