COBOL - Developer (Account: Universal Bank of Switzerland)

Developed and enhanced the back-end of Partner Portal application under Client Relationship Management (CRM) pool and applied the new services available as per requirement of a Universal Bank client which resides in Zurich, Switzerland.

oPerformed the initial analysis, High Level Design, Coding, Unit Test Plans, Unit Test Executions (smoke tests, regression test, error test, and final test) and MIT.

oManaged peer and final reviews during Build Phase.

COBOL/PL1 - Operations and Maintenance Support (Account: BMW Cars Germany)

Managed the offshore operations and maintenance support of Quality and Internal transport applications of a worldwide car manufacturer client which resides in Hof, Germany.

oResponsible for requirement’s analysis, estimation, High Level Design up to its production deployment and support, conduct reviews during Build Phase and ensure no defects after each release.

oPerformed production support. Investigated and solved an average of 10 Incident tickets per day within the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Monitored batch job and online transactions. Fixed system bugs and issues, and created resolution tickets which reduces incident report rate by 60%. Closed Problem tickets in less than 90 days SLA.

oPerformed development works. Estimated 1000+ hours of effort within the +/- 5% schedule and budget variance for >50 development tickets, all were billed to client accordingly.

oCommunicated directly to onshore counterparts and clients to discuss requirement details, for application’s risks and issues, or any continuous improvements on the system.
