ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Handling

Approving samples before production gets started.

Undertaking pre production planning of all the orders beginning from the fabric stage followed by PPM after the fit approval.

Following up on the timely arrival of fabrics, trims and other accessories from the nominated suppliers/agents.

Checking and anticipating any delay in the execution of the order and update the buyers accordingly.

Coordinating with production staff during production.

Quality Assurance

Ensuring regular visits to the factories to maintain the quality standards.

Defining & implementing quality standards and structured processes / quality plans for various production operations.

Prioritizing quality assurance responsibilities based on the integration of new designs and products into current production schedule.

Arranging in house inline inspections, mid inspection and FRI before offering the goods to the Buying agents.

Monitoring and optimising the manufacturing processes & troubleshooting problems in coordination with other departments for new product development & improving efficiency.

Undertaking hourly audits on production floor leaves little chances of any defects/problems at a later stage

Organizing initial approvals on trims, accessories and size set before pilot run.

QMS Implementation & Compliance

Developing & implementing policies, guidelines & procedures to establish / maintain high quality standards in compliance with ISO 9000 and statutory norms.

Conducting various tests & regular inspections as per AQL standards to ensure adherence to pre-set norms and conformance across all functions and processes.

Client Relationship Management

Responsible for managing production and concentrating on business development and sales.

Trend forecasting and trend creation conceptualization for the client base.
