Vblock Storage Consultant 08/2012 to 03/2013

As part of the Deployment and Implementation team at VCE, I provided the Storage expertise needed to install and configure the Vblock. I set up the storage per the customer’s requirement on either a VMAX or VNX storage array using Unisphere or SMC Management tools. I also did the zoning on the Cisco MDS series switches for the fibre connection from the UCS blade servers to the storage array. I was on a 6 month Residency in Calgary, Canada supporting a Corporate wide SAP Migration from an IBM storage system to 3 new VCE Vblock system.
