AstraZeneca Global Application Maintenance Outsourcing Program Program Manager: The program involved the migration of support from dozens of existing suppliers to key selected suppliers, Infosys and Cognizant. Susana managed the initiation phase which involved a global team based in the US, UK, and Sweden, and delivered a transition strategy and plan covering thousands of applications for five global business areas, as well as the associated costs for the program’s business case, with the project generating $5 million savings in support costs.
Department of Health Organizational Merger Program Management Office (PMO): Susana managed the reporting for six workstreams responsible for delivering the IT systems for a merger of three government commissions into a new entity, the Care Quality Commission. As the PMO, she delivered detailed project planning, budget spend, program reporting, risks and issues, and workstream interdependencies for six workstreams with an overall budget of £20 million. She delivered strong value in project organization, team management, and driving the project delivery forward against an ambitious timetable.

ABN Amro Enterprise-wide Application Development and Implementation Project Manager: Susana was responsible for the development (using Agile) and implementation of a Document Management and Workflow system (Documentum) into 650 bank branches, with 5,000 users and a project cost of €3.5 million. Susana was responsible for the detailed project planning, management reporting, managing issues, risks and dependencies, and managing various senior stakeholders throughout the bank as part of handling a politically sensitive project. She also managed a team of technical and business resources ranging from system architect, developers, configuration specialist, and business analysts, while liaising with the client in requirements gathering and expectation management.
