Role/Responsibilities:

Administering the Clearcase, multisite and UCM and providing technical support to the team. Training the engineers on using the tools and resolving clearcase issues. Simplifying the clearcase work by automating the installation and some of the clearcase UCM tasks that helped the engineers to have less interaction with the tool and reduce errors. Shell script was used to automate.

Decommissioned all the Clearcase replicated site and transferred mastership from all the sites to one site for further development. Later all the vobs were replicated to Tower instance to maintain as a backup during disaster recovery.

Migrated the source code from Clearcase to Perforce and implemented the same clearcase UCM branching in Perforce and configured as required by the team.

Implemented the Coverity to replace Parasoft Static Code Analysis to reduce the license cost.

Daily builds were created for Keystone and OEC9900 projects. Worked with the developers to resolve the build issues and worked with them to simplify some of the build steps. These build packages were installed on the X-ray machines and a regression tests were performed.

Apart from this work, I spent some time on understanding the Jenkins and I learnt how to install and configure Jenkins and automate some of the work in Jenkins. I have some knowledge on GIT.

Performing builds and installing the software on the GE x-ray surgical machine and performing some regression test. Following their process in building the product and handing over the software to manufacturing department.
