DATA GOVERNANCE & QUALITY

Company quality and data governance leader in charge of a team composed of 17 data and quality analysts located across different business sites. Also, responsible to set short and long term goals for the analytics advisory and reporting teams dedicated to provide data services for customers and company researchers. In addition, in charge of business processes analysis and continuous improvement.

Established program objectives and effectively communicated priorities for all functions reporting to quality and data governance as well as IT groups based on customer feedback and organizational goals.

Implemented a quality program that enabled CoStar to audit and measure the data quality level for the US tier 1 markets and set appropriated improvement goals in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.

DATA MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS (2013 - 2015)

Promoted to Director level and responsible for data teams of up to 130 members located in the United States and the Philippines. Increased responsibilities and effectively led multiple customer data services/operational processes and effectively allocated resources and managed multiple IT projects in a cross-functional environment.

Implemented digital marketing strategies by executing data acquisition, profiling, integration, and migration to new systems that improved traditional lead generation process for hibu. Served as Data Leader for the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce.com, and the digital marketing and customer engagement tool, Eloqua. Optimized the aggregation of the information and allowed almost instant delivery of premium leads to 2500+ nationwide sales representatives.

Directed work for IT team, Data Governance team as well as operations and marketing functional groups. Reduced department budget by 40% within a period of a year without impacting customer service level agreements (SLAs). Executed project management activities and streamlined operational processes, eliminated non-value added activities, relocated and automated manual efforts, reduced head count and eliminated non-relevant vendor services. Resulted in an annual cost saving of $4 million.

Planned, developed and executed a $10 million department budget that included quarterly budget reduction goals and expected performance for a period of 2 years. Focused on delivering innovative and robust data mastering solutions to both internal and external customers through the use of cutting edge technologies, intelligent deployment of human resources, and efficient process execution. Accomplishments include successful delivery of operational and systems projects that involved two master data management technical deployments.

Established data governance and project management tools from the ground up and defined key metrics and measurement systems for the data services processes as well as critical to quality (CTQ) metrics for vendor/data suppliers.

Analyzed and improved data accuracy (from 80 to 97.2%), completeness (10-fold increase in depth of available business data), and timeliness (every record in the database updated an average of every 90 days) by implementing an intelligent multi-million dollar database enterprise housing all US based business listings information.

Determined business rules, business requirements and worked with IT resources to implement a Market Database system that allowed the reduction of headcount by ~ 100 positions for an annual savings of $5 million per year. The database managed 366,000 daily data transactions automatically. Such database included business identity data, profile information, firmographic data and marketing analytics.
