• Worked in a team of 2 to write a Java program that plays Connect-K using mini-max search with alpha-beta pruning

• Worked in a team of 3 to write a Python program that predicted customers’ sentiment regarding food, drinks, and service in Yelp Reviews using machine learning (aspect-based sentiment analysis). First, aspects were extracted from the reviews using manually created vocabularies of food, drinks and service nouns. Then, the aspects were hand-labeled as positive, negative, or neutral. Afterwards, word2vec was implemented to create a vector representation (average of the words that the aspect depended on). The averaged vector, along with the label, was added to the training data. The classifier was then trained using cross validation to help it learn to determine the sentiment pertaining to an aspect EMPLOYMENT
