Responsibilities:
Expedited order processing and packaging
In charge of Customer Accounts (i.e. billings, sales, inventory & solving problems)

Review and record times, percentages, and quantities of pickers and loaders daily on the daily tally sheet. If any employee is not performing to the standards set for them by the company, corrective action must be taken.
Interact with office personnel on returns regarding disposition and credits.
Interact with office personnel on inventory discrepancies.
Suggest and implement cost savings ideas pertaining to warehouse and fleet operations.
Oversee pickup areas; assure products are restocked properly if customer cancelled order.
Assure vehicle fleet logbook is maintained daily. If any vehicle is in non-compliance, corrective action must be taken.
Interact with office personnel on all order entry errors by making copies of all picks and highlighting errors and stating what customer actually wanted on the pick ticket. Give copies to office manager.
Interact with sales personnel on all customer complaints, concerns, or shortages from their delivery on a daily basis. Assure sales rep is aware of any product that the customer must have because of a delivery error.
Complete special assignments and tasks in a timely manner.
Receiving inspection.
Operate electric jacks and forklifts.
Maintain sample area in warehouse.
Oversee pallet repair/sort program.
Complete shortage response from slot empties of shortage report daily by 10:00am.
Complete all daily and/or tasks pertaining to inventory inquiries (check inventory, audits, adjustments, move product, etc.)
Oversee daily truck routing - customers and pickups (backhauls).
Oversee routing new stops and customer request changes
Add routes or remove routes as necessary pending work load.
Schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Interact with mechanic.
Assure truck maintenance log books and repair sheets are done and documented properly and in a timely manner.
Assure trucks have current owner’s card, insurance card, registration sticker, and inspection sticker.
Assure truck start of shift and end of shift checklists are completed and documented properly each day.
Responsible for forecasting and managing budgets
