Education and Qualification:
2 years 6 months Apprenticeship Course (NAC) of Boiler Attendant in NLC Ltd, Neyveli.
Boiler Operator License, First Class and second class, Directorate of Boilers, Government of Tamil Nadu
Fitter - NCVT
Computer Knowledge:
MS-office and basic web browsing knowledge.

Operates and adjusts boilers including starting and shutdown; maintains maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading, and interpreting gauges, indicators and steam flow meters; maintains oil heaters, pumps, oil storage facilities and oil unloading equipment; observes fire and safety precautions.
Observes boiler plant operations through visual check and the use of electronic or pneumatic controls, pressure gauges, and safety devices; supervises or performs the chemical testing and treatment of boiler feed water; liaises and works with plant leaders and other stakeholders as required.
Maintains all records and reports relative to steam plant operations; makes regular checks of plant equipment and makes adjustments, repairs and services equipment as required; exercises supervision over employees; performs related work as required.
