Worked as Safety Officer in Operation and Maintenance Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation projects in power plant (CHP&AHP).

JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

Get familiar and comply with client standards & requirements.

Implementation HSE code of practice.

Promote the awareness among line managers & key persons.

Conducting awareness training for all the employees.

Ensure the work environment is safe to work.

Carry out daily tool box talk for the employees

Carry out daily site survey to ensure that safe work methods are in operation.

Health, Safety and environment requirements are being observed.

Daily audit of work permit, RA and

Preparing JSA and attend meeting for review

Make sure that personnel protective equipment is suitable for use and for which it is intended and to be worn by everybody at all times.

Determine the causes of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommended means of preventing them.

Assist with the HSE department for the training of the employees at the levels. Taken part in discussion on the injury, damage and near misses.

Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and safety literature.

Attend the meeting where safety is an item in the agenda and keep all the records of safety meetings on site with subject and attendance.

Ensure that access and egress are always free from any observations.

Make sure that the flammable materials are stored in rational manner.

Make sure the basic fire lighting equipments are fully operational and placed accordingly.

Inspection of portable firefighting equipment’s.

Given first aid treatment in case of incident / accident

Regular inspection for all the Lifting equipment’s, Tool’s & Tackles and Machinery.
