Duties:

Preservation, protection and rejuvenation of Australia's natural environment.

Killing and removing weeds and unwanted vegetation such

as Lantana and Wild Tobacco

Maintaining and cleaning equipment.

Planting trees, mulching, clearing rubbish.

Using whipper-snippers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers and

hand tools.

Blending ingredients on a mass scale

Job duties:

Preparing fields, garden beds or lawn areas by cultivating soil and adding fertilisers and compost

Planting and transplanting flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns

Maintaining gardens by fertilising, trimming and making sure that plants are receiving adequate water

Pruning trees and hedges to promote the health and positive appearance of plants

Maintaining lawn and grass areas of surrounding areas and two cemeteries.

Assisting with the digging of graves and realignment of gravestones.

Painting residential and industrial properties.

Assisting trades persons with concrete repair work on residential, industrial and government properties. Using jack-hammers and grinders to cut concrete.

Working in industrial and residential buildings including apartment

blocks, hotels and office blocks.

Maintaining a high quality of decoration, both interior and exterior.

Spray painting surfaces using a spray gun.

Applying decorative paint finishes such as stencils, colour glaze, graining, marbling and lettering.

Assisting trades persons in the refurbishment of offices and apartments.

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES

I am an avid reader of novels, history books, biographies and travel

books.

I enjoy world cinema and world music.

I produce digital art in my home studio which i print on t-shirts

and greetings cards and i make jewellery.

. NOTES

I was not permitted to work in Australia from 2006

to 2009 due to Visa restrictions. During this time I

assisted my wife with her artworks in her studio

and currently run a market stall selling arts and crafts.
