Accomplishments
Mortgage Operations/Production Leader– 15+ years of leading top producing local and national centers of retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending in the conventional and specialty lending spaces. Managed operations to include sales, appraisal, and underwriting, along with processing, and funding. Managed relationships with internal departments as well as external vendors and government agencies. Created processes to conform to all of the various regulatory requirements.
Default Servicing/Risk Management/Process Development – Saved Bank of America over $100 million in non-reimbursable legal fees by building an end to end review of all loss mitigation to assure all applicable options were considered before foreclosure. This process also reduced financial, regulatory and reputational Risk to the company by implementing eliminating unnecessary delay and brought the company into compliance with regulatory requirements (HAMP, CFPB, OCC) with focus on balancing risk, process efficiency, and required production levels.
Resolution Management. - Eliminated potential losses with a 98% success rate working directly with FNMA FHLMC HUD and other major investors in order to resolve compliance and documentation insufficiencies, underwriting errors, and closing errors discovered in investor post-closing and post-purchase audits. Acquired all necessary documentation to bring loans into compliance and make them saleable. Also worked with operations to identify and resolve underlying root causes.

Audit – Served as a Senior Auditor performing internal mortgage operations audits on site and back office, nationwide. 100% success rate in reviewing and defending government property seizure requests. Executed Due Diligence reviews for bulk acquisitions. Worked directly with corporate audit, HUD, OCC, and FNMA to create audit response plans and remediation. Designed and built final file audit for loans in foreclosure nationwide. This audit resulted in Bank of America coming into compliance with CFPB requirements.
