Senior Piping Designer Lead

Piping Design Lead for an Oil pipeline project. The team and I worked closely with the client to assure that the best quality facilities were design keeping Safety, Accessibility and Operations in mind thru the entire process. The project scope was to build a new 30 oil pipeling and booster station facilities starting from North Dakota all the wat to Needreland Texas. The sites where to include booster pump stations and launcher and receiver stations to be constructed in multiple phases. ETC

Also to help mold the Flex Plant so that it was more user friendly for the user to be able to complete a model in a more timely manner, and to help add a more client friendly product. Also including programming certain modules or parts of FlexCad using Lisp and Visual basics.

Duties included P&ID work, drawing plans, sections, and ISO's from sketches using Rebis Pro-Pipe, Rebis Pro-ISO, Rebis AutoPlant and manual drafting. He also did extensive fieldwork and data entry. He was responsible for software and hardware support that includes loading and configuring software on CAD machines, troubleshooting, plotting, and any hardware problems. While as a piping designer I worked on many different projects such as PFO Oil Burner replacement, two Caustic Wash Tower replacements, RCRA upgrade, Cogen replacement, Depentanizer Upgrade, Conveying Belt systems, Blower systems, Fire Water systems, Skid units, Pipeline replacements and upgrades, Acid unit upgrades, Flow metering stations, Experience with OLE FINS units, SMA units, Tank farms, LNG, Ethylene and many other units and systems.
